Restrictions Eased
 
As of May 21, 2021 we are at 100% capacity and masks are only required for those not fully vaccinated.

PAST COVID-19 POLICY IN 2020

Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club is a private club, not open to the public.


Effective June 30, 2020 (Phase 3) following the State of Rhode Island, Governor’s Executive Orders, Wanumetonomy is open for golf play to Wanumetonomy Members and Guests. 
The Club also asks all golfers adhere to the following policies:

1. Access to the main portion of the clubhouse, golf shop, and cart barn/bag room is now available.  A FACEMASK IS REQUIRED IN ALL OF THESE AREASYou may remove your mask when eating.  Only one customer at a time in the golf shop.  Please protect our employees.Flagsticks will always remain in the hole.  Do not handle or touch the pin. 

2. Please no hand, arm or bodily contact while on the property 

3. No passing of scorecards to other players 

4. Bunker rakes and ball-washing stations have been removed from the course for your protection 

5. Water stations and refreshment cooler have been removed 

6. Cups have been modified on each hole that allows golfers to pick his/her ball out of the cup without touching the pin.  Each cup has been modified that prevents golf balls from dropping to the bottom of the cup 

7. Social distance.  Again, please keep six feet between others. 

8. The Club has activated the tee-time reservation system.  As a member, please use this system or call the golf shop to reserve your time.
